The care route for migrants of Venezuelan nationality with possible contagion or infected with Covid-19 is exactly the same as that of any Colombian citizen.
If the person is insured: you should contact your EPS Health Provider Entity.
If the migrant is not insured:
- If the person has a Special Residence Permit - PEP, they will be immediately affiliated with an EPS, and will be cared for through the EPS.
- If the person does not have PEP, they will be treated through the emergency route for any uninsured foreign person who is in our country.
- It must be submitted to the public network for the provision of municipal services, coordinated under the departmental health secretary.
- The case will be treated as an emergency and the health care service will be provided free of charge.
