Term of permanence of the different types of visa:
Tourist visa. The period of permanence is 3 months, extendable for another similar period.
The extension is processed by presenting yourself at any of the DNM Delegations before the expiration of the granted term.
Visa for Business. The period of permanence is 60 days. To stay, you must start the residency process.

Visa to attend congresses and fairs, or carry out technical, scientific, artistic or professional activities: the period of stay is 30 days. To stay, you must start the residency process.

Student visa + 365 : your stay is for a period greater than 365 days, according to the study program.
Student visa – 365 : your stay is for a period of less than 365 days, according to the study program.
Visa for Religious of the Catholic or non-Catholic Cult : for religious that imply temporary residence in the country, the permanence will be for the time that the Invitation Note informs.

Visa for work : those people who have an employment contract signed by the employer, managing their temporary residence.

Visa for transferred personnel : those people with a work contract or proof of work issued by the company abroad and proof of the receiving subsidiary or entity in Argentina, with the reason for the transfer. You must manage your temporary residence.

Visa for Family Reunification : the permanence will be based on the residence of your relative, of the giver of criteria, in the case of foreigners residing in Argentina.
