Air:
The Cheddi Jagan International (GEO) and Eugene Correia International (OGL) airports continue to operate international commercial flights.
There are no restrictions on those seeking to leave the country; however, the number of flights available are limited.
Domestic air is limited to government and essential activities.
Land:
Travelers from countries with a high number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 will be subject to more screenings or may be denied to entry in the country upon arrival.
The Lethem Crossing is open from Monday to Friday. The Task Force is assisting foreign nationals travelling to and from Region 9 and screening them. In this instance, letters of permission are being issued. The Moleson Creek Crossing is open. Check-in time 06:30hrs to 08:00hrs, and the scheduled departure is 09:00hrs, from the Moleson Creek Terminal.
Domestic land travel is limited to government and essential activities, and no vehicle can exceed 50% of its capacity.
*Exception: Guyana and Brazil border
It works as follows: from Monday to Wednesday, it will be open to society, Thursday will be the turn of cargo trucks, and Friday for residents of Lethem and Bonfim.
Trucks and other cargo vehicles can only cross the border on Thursdays.
Maritime:
Domestic travel by land, sea, and air is limited to government purposes, and travel is to obtain or provide basic goods and services.
