Antigen or Negative RT-PCR Test
Presentation of a negative or non-reactive RT-PCR test or antigen test is required.

The test must be carried out in a laboratory recognized by the health authorities of the country of shipment, in accordance with Ordinance No. 661/2021 .
Only tests presented in Portuguese, Spanish or English will be accepted.
If the flight has connections or stopovers in which the traveler remains in a restricted area of the airport, the 72-hour boarding period will be considered for the first part of the trip.
Travelers who pass migration control and exceed 72 hours from the initial RT-PCR test must present an updated document proving a new negative or non-reactive RT-PCR test at check-in for boarding.
About the antigen test:
Presentation of the antigen test to the airline, provided that it does not exceed 24 hours since its performance.
Antigen or Positive RT-PCR Test
There are restrictions for entering the country with a positive RT-PCR test, according to the rules of Ordinance No. 661/2021 .
See entry restrictions with positive RT-PCR test:
- two detectable RT-PCR results, at least 14 days apart, the last 72 hours before travel;
- antigen test with negative or non-reactive result dated after the last detectable RT-PCR result;
- medical certificate stating that the person is asymptomatic and fit to travel, including the date of travel. The certificate must be issued in Portuguese, Spanish or English and contain the identification and signature of the responsible physician.
It is mandatory to fill in the Traveler's Electronic Health Declaration .
About the Traveler's Electronic Health Declaration:
- Within 72 hours before the flight departure, the declaration must be presented in printed or digital format at check-in.

Documents for the disembarkation of sea crew
- complete vaccination cycle against Covid-19 (with a second dose – or a single dose, depending on the immunizer), at least 14 days before the date of shipment or according to the information on the package insert. For proof purposes, it is essential to present the National Vaccination Certificate against Covid-19.
- obligation to submit a negative RT-PCR test performed up to 72 hours before departure or an antigen test performed up to 24 hours before departure.
- filling out a form containing information about the traveller's health conditions. This form must be presented by everyone, including minors and crew members.
