The recommendation to adopt general biosafety measures is maintained :
Use of mouth cover, frequent hand hygiene, cover the nose when coughing and sneezing (with a disposable handkerchief or elbow fold), avoid close contact, check if you have symptoms (fever, cough and shortness of breath) request attention.
Biosecurity measures are regulated according to the phase in which the Region is.

During the state of emergency that was experienced by the COVID-19 pandemic in Peru, the Government ordered a series of measures and recommendations at the national level, the same ones that have been without effect since October 27, 2022, as established in Supreme Decree No. 130-2022-PCM .

Use of Mask : its use in closed public spaces is mandatory since the end of 2022 due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, as resolved by the Emergency Operations Committee (COE) .

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection recommends the use of masks in closed spaces, even in those municipalities with coverage greater than 70% in vaccination. Also for those places where there are crowds and when visiting or living with the elderly or with comorbidities.
To face the public health emergency of international importance due to the coronavirus, the Brazilian government may adopt isolation and quarantine measures, among others.
