Temporary residence abroad:
Taking into consideration the health emergency situation, consult the possibility of starting it at the headquarters of the Consular Representations, without prejudice to which it is possible to start it online.
It is valid for 2 years and has a cost.
Requirements:
. Passport and copy of the first page, valid, showing your biographical data.
. Fill out the electronic visa application form.
. Proof of legal entry. A photocopy of the page of your passport showing the last entry or exit stamp from Colombia.
. Photocopy of the previously issued visa, if you have had one.
. Certificate of criminal or judicial record, from your country of origin or the place where you resided during the 3 years prior to the request, with an issue date that does not exceed 3 months at the time of registration. The document must be apostilled, legalized or certified by the Consulate of the country accredited in Colombia. If it is in a language other than Spanish, it must be translated and legalized.
. Passport style face photo with white background, size 3 cm wide and 4 cm high, maximum 300 kb jpg file for online application.
Formalities:
. The documentation to be submitted must be original, requiring legalization and/or apostille, as the case may be, if they are documents issued abroad, with an official translation into Spanish.

It is managed before the offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is a Migrant visa and is valid for 2 years, after said period they can request permanent residence.
It is possible to process it online, once you obtain approval, you must go to Bogotá to stamp it in your passport.

In case of managing it as a beneficiary, prove the family bond. In the case of minors, children, present a birth certificate, duly legalized or apostilled from their country of origin. If you are with one of your parents, you must have the permission issued by the competent family authority of the country of origin, apostilled.
